Team Xecuter developed the first ever Xbox 360 connectivity kit back in 2006 and although it s success has been imitated it has never been bettered. We now.

CK3 Pro USB Drivers - Download Instructions Updated Jan 14 2011

NOTE: These are no longer required if you are using the CK3 Probe 3.

These drivers are for the CK3 Pro or Blaster CK3 USB Serial Adapter for Liteon 74850 DVD Key Extraction with CK3 Probe v1 or v2 only - not required with v3. They are not required for any other drives.

Prolific changed one of their batches of IC the manufacturer of the Serial to USB chip so there are two possible drivers that will work for the CK3 Pro or Blaster CK3

. Supports the following Windows OSes:

- Windows 98SE

- Windows ME

- Windows 2000 SP4

- Windows XP SP2 and above 32 64 bit

- Windows Server 2003 32 64 bit

- Windows Server 2008 / 2008 R2 32 64 bit

- Windows Vista 32 64 bit

- Windows 7 32 64 bit

We recommend you install this one first - follow these instructions:

FIRST DRIVER VID 11D4 / PID 832D

1. DO NOT connect the CK3 Pro or Blaster CK3 USB to the computer before installing these drivers - it may cause your system to reject the drivers and not install correctly.

2. First uninstall any previous driver that you may have installed.

3. Download this driver:

4. DO NOT connect the CK3 Pro USB to the computer

5. Install the driver by running the setup.exe

6. Reboot your PC

7. Connect the CK3 Pro USB cable to your computer

8: Your CK3 Pro should detect under Ports COM LPT as Xecuter CK3 Pro USB Controller

If you have problems installing the above CK3 Pro USB Drivers then try the ones below:

SECOND DRIVER VID 0673 / PID 2303

8: Your CK3 Pro should detect under Ports COM LPT as Prolific USB-to-Serial COMM Port

The drivers should show up like this. Naturally it displays the name depending on what version of drivers you have to use - they both work EXACTLY the same

Hi. This is my first post, beware

I have the CK3pro rev-d and Probe2. I have had the exclamation mark when trying to install usb drivers. I couldn t get rid of that exclamation mark no matter what i did.

I tried the second drivers Prolific USB-to-Serial COMM Port and they worked like a charm in win7 x64.

Another vote for the above drivers here.

I could never get them first drivers working with Win7 x64, even directly from a fresh Windows installation. Not so much of a big deal as I have a working Vista partition too, but a pain nonetheless.

Just tried the second ones out, I ve yet to flash a drive, but JF doesn t complain about not being able to find a com port now, and it sees the CK3 so thumbs up.

had to reformat my flashing pc becuase it keeped crashing and freezing. now i was having the problem of no comport and first drivers would work. so i removed all drivers i attempted the second driver and bam it worked. thank god i have 10 consoles to flash.

It s work for me here s is my method i d like to share

- uninstall previous driver if any

- unplug your CK3 PRO usb cable or just dont connect it in the first place

- restart your computer

- install driver the first driver worked for me

- plug in your USB CK3 pro cable

- Window will show up for installation

- yes, this time only

- automatic 1st selection

- your XECUTER CK3 PRO - USB COM3 should be shown on your Device manager without any flag

- DONE. .

yes you still need the drivers for the ck3 lite so that jf recognises it so that you can power up your dvd drive hope this helps

Hey guys, I ve always used Windows 7 64x to flash drives with my CK3 Pro with Probe V2. Every once in a while it d crash, so I decided to do a clean install on my old XP 32x computer. I have SP3, but every time I try to install my CK3, I get the little exclamation point saying The device cannot start Code 10. I ve tried to reinstall it many times, but I ve had no luck, and it s very frustrating. My VID is 2303.

I shorted my last ck3 pro worked perfectly for 1.5 years and got it replaced with a rev. d

unfortunately after trying to in and uninstall every driver version i was able to find 110,111, and the two in the OP and rebooting between every execution of setup and also trying to use the device manager uninstall a few times and installing it while the device was plugged in im still without luck. After the reboot following the install, as soon as I plug it in I get the tooltip New Hardware Found and Windows Hardware Wizard pops up which ive closed every single time

What can I do. Is there some magic way to remove the drivers or install them. So far they have shown not a single change in how Windows and CK3 Pro interact, only recognizing if they were installed or not.

Ive tried 2 cables, the card is fine, as is the drive. Please help

I don t quite understand from which part of my post you gather that I didn t follow the OP so i ll just try to outline what i did at least 10 times:

1.unplug Ck3

2.uninstall drivers

3.reboot

4.install drivers

5.reboot

6.plug in Ck3

If I m missing something, please do tell me what it is. I ve already thought about re-installing Windows XP so I m quite desperate lol

also im sure ive rebooted the computer a few times before step 2 above

You have said nothing about your VID/PID and which version is yours. Like the instructions tell you. So yeah that sticks out straight away as you not following the instructions.

This would indicate the first driver, which I tried to apply exactly following the instructions for the first 3 times, but I will now re-download it and try once again just to be sure.

EDIT:

Just made sure I followed the instructions exactly rebooted in between every step and still same story. Neither JF 1.67 or the newest version recognize it and the device manager gives the same XECUTER CK3 PRO - USB like it has done the past times I ve plugged it in.

i got my ck3 pro kit and probe the other day thought would be easy to install and use blow my pc up yesterday still trying to install it sata to via the power to ck3 adapter but would not pick up drive wish could have just plugged in usb and used the power from there would have been easier but hey i m new and know nothing.

I am having problems getting JungleFLasher to see my drive. I have installed the second drivers. In device manager I see Prolific USB to Serial on COMM port 3 and the PID is 2303 when I look at the hardware ID.

When I open jungleflasher however and select comm port3, I cant find my drive. In the image in the OP it says the information in Jungleflasher should say

TYPE : Xecuter CK3 Pro

however in my Jungleflasher it says

TYPE : USB

everything else is the same. Not sure if I am supposed to see the CK3 Pro in device manager but I don t.

I know this board can flash the drive because I did it before on a previous windows install.. If I boot the PC with the drive connected, the drive shows as a connected device in the post so I m stuck as to what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be much appreciated at this point..

Have you connected your drive to the computer some way with a SATA cable. .

did you install the driver before plugging the ck3. if you using a probe 3 you dont need the driver as that is more for the MRA hack

hey brett does your computer say no drive detected phat key extraction aborted.

you dont need the usb cable connection for the ck3 if using a probe 3, if drive is not being recognised try and refresh the drive properties once its shown click phat key button and follow prompts.

I ve just gone to flash a Liteon drive for the first time since I installed Windows 7 x64 so I need updated drivers. I downloaded the first file only to find that I actually need the second file and Hotfile is making me wait 30 minutes because I have reached my hourly traffic limit, despite both files being 2mb. That s really annoying.

So it would be useful if they could be hosted elsewhere as well. Heck, I d be happy to put them onto Rapidshare, Megaupload, Fileserve, something like that myself and put the links here if it would help others.

Oh - and a small correction. The hardware ID for the second type of probe is 067B, not 0673. It s correct in the screenshots, but wrong in the actual thread text, so anyone Googling or forum searching for 067B won t find this.

You don t need a driver for the CK3 or Probe. Make sure you have the latest JungleFlasher and tutorial which you can download from my sig.

it keeps giving me a failure during the confirmation right after the extractionon the turn off probe.wait 5 seconds.turn on probe again.

When it says that, remove the Probe from the MPX01 point, press the switch down, then release. Click OK.

umm yeawhen jungle flasher starts, it shows the drive on I/O port oxo170, but when i click the phatkey, the drive properties go blanklike the drive doesn t existso whats going on.

is the probe supposed to be on the mode with the blue or red light.

anyway i m really tired of thisi extracted the key once and it failed at the confirmationif I put the hard drive back will I get banned.

you mean the dvd drive, right. I assume you never erased or wrote something, then no you will not get banned because nothing has changed

But you shouldn t give up, you re almost there.

You do have a probe v3 or a home maid pmt probe right.

The ck3 pro only has to be connected to the pc with the molex connector. Remove the usb driver. Also make sure you don t insert the dvd power cable upside down, this has happened a lot before.

ABGX: and here s the tutorial: ABGX tutorial

ABGX first make sure you follow Slick s guide and then burn the. dvd with ImgBurn at 2.4x to Verbatim media.

is it necessary to be verbatim or it can be memorex.

memorex may work, but verbs have a near 100 success rate, what ever type of disc you use make sure you burn at 2.4

Memorex is re-branded crap, so you ll never know what kind of disc you re getting. Stick with the best and forget the rest.

also i ran the manual patch and there are 3 different sets of SS and DMI fileswhich one do i pick or do i have to do all of them in order.

You only have to do one.

Pick the one where the SS CRC matches with the one from your current backup.

I am not sure though if another SS/DMI can be used, I think so, but someone has to confirm this.

umm.guys i still get SSv1and i did patch it manuallywill anything happen if i use SSv1.

You re not following Slick s tutorial correctly. Go back and re-read. Make sure Patch even if stealth passes is ticked under Manually Patch or Extract Files.

yea i knowi already had thati ran the auto patch first, then i made the changes for the manual patch, the I ran the default patch again like he saidbut it still says SSv1

This is how I do it. I manually patch first because ABGX doesn t always patch it for you and then run default. Make sure when running default settings that Patch even if stealth patches is not ticked. I also recommend you save two settings, one for manually patching and another for default settings if you haven t already.

everything matches perfectly and SplitVid works but i still have SSv1

the region is supposed to be NTSC/U for United states right.

the patch will stay if the img had the patch right.

As long as you don t delete the. dvd file associated with the. iso image, all is good.

i got a game that already has SSv2, but when i patch it default settings, the verification fails and it tells me Failed to find a verified ini file for this Xex is the game still safe to play.

Are you connected to the internet when you do this. ABGX needs to download files in order to patch backup.

No. Until ABGX is able to verify everything in the backup, you can t be sure it will be safe. Also double check with the ABGX tutorial and make sure all the default settings are correct. If you change something, save the settings.
